Woman dies after being hit by lorry in Mayo supermarket carpark

A woman in her 70s died following being struck by a lorry in a supermarket car park in Co Mayo on Thursday.

Gardaí and Emergency Services responded to the incident in Westport shortly before 12pm and the pedestrian was pronounced deceased a short time later.
