Motorcyclist, 50s, dead after road incident in Wicklow

Gardaí and emergency services were called to the scene of a 'fatal incident' on Monday afternoon.

A man in his 50s has died after an incident involving a motorcycle in Wicklow on Monday afternoon.

At around 12.30pm, gardaí and emergency services were called to the scene of what they say was a "fatal incident" involving the motorcyclist at Turlough Hill.

No indication was given as to what he collided with.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to come forward.

Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí.
