Soldier found dead in Defence Forces air base at Baldonnell

Lieutenant Conal Sheeran, 30, was a native of Westmeath who joined Óglaigh na hÉireann in 2012.

An officer has been found dead in the Defence Forces air base at Baldonnell.

The Defence Forces confirmed that Lieutenant Conal Sheeran of the Irish Air Corps was found "in an unresponsive state" by his colleagues in Casement Aerodrome.
