A man in his 30s was arrested after 9.7kg of herbal cannabis worth about €194,800 was seized as part of ongoing investigations in Co Monaghan on Wednesday.

A coordinated intelligence-led operation was conducted by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), Louth Cavan Monaghan Crime Hub, and the Revenue Customs Service in County Monaghan.
