President Joe Biden and Ireland's Taoiseach Leo Varadkar commemorated a century of diplomatic ties between the United States and Ireland during the annual St. Patrick's Day reception at the White House. During the ceremony, Mr Varadkar acknowledged that there are "different perspectives" between Ireland and the US on Gaza, but said Mr Biden is "working hard" to secure a ceasefire.
