Minister cites 'worrying change' in driver behaviour as factor in rising road deaths

There has been a "worrying change" in driver behaviour post-covid with the number of road fatalities continuing to rise, the Justice Minister has warned.

Helen McEntee said the number of deaths and serious injuries on our roads is "far too high" with speeding, drink- and drug-driving, mobile phone use and people not wearing seatbelts being blamed.
