Gardaí renew appeal for witnesses to Carlow crash that killed three young people

Carlow crash victims: (L-R) Katie Graham, Daryl Culbert and Michael Kelly
Gardaí have renewed their appeal for witnesses to the Carlow crash that killed three young people last week.
The three friends, Daryl Culbert, 21, Michael Kelly, 25, and Katie Graham, 19, died when the red Lexus they were travelling in collided with a tree and burst into flames.
A fourth person, a man in his early 20s, from nearby Ballinabrannagh, continues being treated at the Mater Hospital in Dublin.
The incident happened at around 11.30pm on the N80 at Leagh on the Wexford Road in Carlow.

Investigating gardaí have established an incident room at Carlow Garda Station and are appealing to anyone who may have information to come forward.
Any road user who has camera footage, including dash cam, and was travelling on the N80 Carlow town to Bunclody road at Leagh or the surrounding areas between 11.15pm and midnight on January 31 is asked to make this available to gardaí.
The final of the three funerals took place yesterday when Michael “Mikey” Kelly was laid to rest.
In his eulogy, his brother said: "Mike was a very soft-spoken chap, a cheeky smile and a glint in his eye like his friend Daryl.
"I would love to describe Mike as a car enthusiast, or fanatic but that wouldn’t do him justice. He really had petrol flowing through his veins."
Earlier this week, Katie Graham's funeral heard that she was a "beautiful soul, inside and out".
“Her smile would light up the room and it was completely infectious, and she was always up for the laugh,” Ms Graham’s friend Sharon said adding that she was “always in good form” and had a positive outlook on life.
Daryl Culbert was also laid to rest on Monday in Hacketstown. He was buried with his grandparents.
Anyone with any information in relation to this collision is asked to contact Carlow Garda Station on 059 913 6620, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
