RTÉ to spend up to €80,000 dubbing Peppa Pig and Thomas the Tank Engine

The broadcaster aims to have Peppa Pig available to broadcast by August with the tender noting that contracts may be extended for a further two years.

RTÉ is to spend €80,000 to dub episodes of Peppa Pig and Thomas the Tank Engine in Irish “in a cost-effective” manner.

The broadcaster posted a tender seeking suitably qualified professionals to supply dubbing services for the popular children’s cartoons.
