Sinn Féin criticises Government for failure to deliver affordable homes amid 'off-the-wall' prices

Sinn Féin’s finance spokesperson Pearse Doherty referenced a recent report suggesting a couple would need to earn a combined €127,000 a year to afford an average, new-build house in Dublin, or €115,000 to buy one in Cork.

The Taoiseach has clashed with Sinn Féin over housing in the Dáil as it criticised the Government for failing to deliver affordable homes.
