Taoiseach Leo Varadkar says he has confidence in the board of RTÉ but warned that there are other reports to be completed on the broadcaster.

Mr Varadkar said he is hopeful legislation can be put in place later this year regarding a new funding model for RTÉ but, speaking in Galway, refused to offer a view on whether that should involve exchequer funding or a household charge.
