Man, 20s, dies following Kildare collision in first road fatality of 2024

The car left the motorway and struck a raised grass bank.

One man has died and another was taken to hospital following a collision in Co Kildare on Monday.

Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to the collision at approximately 8.45pm after the car - travelling between Junction 12 (Newbridge) and Junction 13 (Kildare) - left the motorway and struck a raised grass bank.
