John Crawford, from Dublin, who disappeared in 2000 and whose body was subsequently found and identified in the UK over a decade later. 

The family of a man whose remains were found in a UK grave 11 years after he disappeared are lobbying for improvements to services for families of Irish missing people.

Laura and Julie Crawford have recently joined family members of long-term missing Irish people to meet with TDs and senators to press for improvements such as the expansion of the human remains database, and the regular publication of cases of long-term missing people.
