Asylum seekers left without accommodation to get additional €75

Asylum seekers who are not provided accommodation by the State will be given an additional €75 payment per week under plans to go to Cabinet on Tuesday.

There were 32 international protection applicants not offered accommodation today due to a nationwide shortage. Tánaiste Micheál Martin said he is concerned about the safety of those forced to sleep rough.
