A man from Cork living in Melbourne in Australia who was diagnosed with bowel cancer on Christmas Eve last year is highlighting misconceptions about the disease saying “you are never too young”.

Brendan Moynihan from Inniscarra ran a half marathon while in recovery from serious surgery and credited a childhood friend who coached him virtually all the way from Ballincollig while he trained and recovered from treatment.
