Motorcyclist, 20, in critical condition following collision in Co Kildare

A full examination of the crash site will be conducted by Garda forensic collision investigators and local diversions are currently in place.

A motorcyclist, aged 20, is in critical condition following a collision with a car in Co Kildare on Friday.

The incident occurred shortly after 9.20pm on the R418 at Fontstown Cross, between Athy and Kilcullen.
