Man, 70s, arrested after gardaí seize gun and ammunition in Dublin

The weapon will now be sent on to the ballistics section of the Garda Technical Bureau to undergo analysis.

A man in his 70s has been arrested after gardaí seized a handgun during searches in Dublin.

The Dublin Crime Response Team seized the firearm along with a quantity of ammunition in the Saggart area on Sunday afternoon.
