Four dead following weekend collisions in Kerry, Louth, Mayo and Roscommon

Four people have died in four separate collisions since Friday night, bringing the number of deaths on Irish roads this year to 143.Â
The latest incident occurred in Dundalk when a pedestrian died after he was struck by a vehicle in the early hours of Sunday morning on a motorway.Â
Gardaà attended the scene of the incident at around 2.45am at Junction 16 southbound on the M1 motorway.Â
The man, aged in his 40s, was struck by a vehicle and was fatally injured.Â
His body remains at the scene and an autopsy will take place in due course.Â
The male driver, aged in his early 50s, and the three passengers, aged in their 50s and 40s, were attended to by ambulance personnel at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries.Â
The scene of the collision remains preserved for a technical examination. The road remains closed and local diversions are in place.Â
Gardaà in Dundalk are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
"Any road users who were travelling on the M1 this morning between 2.30am and 3am, and who may have camera footage (including dash-cam), is asked to make this available to gardaÃ," a spokesperson said.
"Anyone with any information is asked to contact Dundalk Garda Station on 042 938 8400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
The man's death brings the total number of fatal road traffic collisions across the country in the past three days to four.
According to Garda data, the latest collisions bring the total number of road deaths in Ireland this year to 143.
Garda figures show that up 9am on October 6, there had been 139 fatalities on Irish roads, up 26 on last year's figure.
In Co Roscommon, a man in his early 20s died after his car overturned in the early hours of Sunday morning.Â
Gardaà are currently at the scene of the collision that happened at Scrine Hill, Scrine at around 2.50am.Â
The road remains closed and local diversions are in place.Â
In Co Kerry, the road on the R55 at Duagh Village, Listowel remains closed after a teenage pedestrian died following a collision involving a car at around 9.50pm.
The man, in his late teens, was seriously injured and rushed to Kerry University Hospital. He later passed away.Â
The scene remains preserved for a technical examination. The female driver, in her early 20s, and the three passengers in the car, all in their later teens, were uninjured.
On Friday evening, a man who was one of the last residents of Inishbiggle Island off the Co Mayo coast, died in a road traffic incident on the island.Â
Christy Henry, who was in his 60s, was pronounced dead after his car veered off the road and entered a lake on the island at around 8.30pm.Â
His body has since been removed from the scene to the mortuary at Mayo University Hospital. An autopsy is due to take place.
