Woman seriously injured following collision involving two cyclists in Dublin

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the incident at Botanic Road, Glasnevin at around 10 am. 

A woman has been seriously injured following a collision involving two cyclists in Dublin on Monday.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the incident at Botanic Road, Glasnevin at around 10am. 

The woman was taken from the scene to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, Dublin to be treated for injuries believed to be serious at this time. 

A man also received injuries believed to be non life threatening. 

A garda spokesperson said the road is currently closed, with local diversions in place. 

Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information or who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.

Any road users or pedestrians who may have camera footage (including dash-cam), and were travelling in the area of Botanic Road or Iona Road, Glasnevin, Dublin between 9am and 10.30am on Monday, is asked to make this footage available to gardaí.
