Ireland needs to draft its own national maritime security strategy as it faces similar threats as outlined in a new British document, experts have said.
Britain's National Strategy for Maritime Security highlights risks to sub-sea cables, commercial shipping lanes and port security that can come from illegal fishing, hostile states, cyber attacks and organised crime.
