Payment scheme for hosting Ukrainian refugees opens for applications

The Government’s 400 euro monthly payment for those hosting Ukrainian refugees has opened for applications, with the first payments to be given on Tuesday August 9.

The Government agreed in May to introduce the monthly payment to hosts per property where Ukrainians are living, in recognition of the higher cost of bills during a cost-of-living crisis.
