Millions of children across Europe are in danger of respiratory disease, kidney disease, and other health hazards as record-breaking temperatures hit the continent, medics have warned.

Save the Children said this assessment should be a warning for leaders to take urgent action on the climate crisis, to reduce children’s exposure to dangerous heatwaves, and protect future generations.
