Institutions offer ‘heartfelt apology’ to victims of abuse

Victims of historical abuse heard apologies from six separate institutions in Stormont on Friday, as representatives stood in the Assembly to express their sorrow at what happened in the past.

Profound apologies and regret were offered to victims of historical institutional abuse by representatives of the institutions.
