NI Agriculture Minister challenged to suspend all Protocol checks

Agriculture Minister Edwin Poots has been challenged to end all Northern Ireland Protocol checks at ports if the UK government triggers Article 16.

Mr Poots responded that he wanted the issue of “unnecessary checks” to be addressed and said trading barriers were not benefiting Northern Ireland.
