Sinn Féin deputy First Minister acknowledges impact of royal family

The Sinn Féin deputy First Minister of Northern Ireland has acknowledged the “significant impact” of the royal family in terms of reconciliation.

Michelle O’Neill also explained why she made a public statement on the Duke of Edinburgh’s passing at the age of 99 on Friday as the “right thing to do” as deputy First Minister.
