AstraZeneca safe and effective says NI CMO as 121 new cases confirmed

Northern Ireland’s chief medical officer said he did not hesitate in having an AstraZeneca vaccine, despite the temporary pause of its rollout in Ireland.

It comes one further person who had previously tested positive for coronavirus has died in Northern Ireland, bringing the toll in the region to 2,099.
