Foster brands EU reaction to protocol grace period extensions ‘hysterical’

Arlene Foster has branded the European Commission’s reaction to the UK move to delay full implementation of new Irish trading arrangements as “hysterical”.
The British Government last week unilaterally extended grace periods limiting bureaucracy linked to the Northern Ireland Protocol until October. They had been due to expire at the end of March.
