Limerick Mayor, Michael Collins, has urged the county to go green ahead of the senior hurler’s All-Ireland clash against Waterford on Sunday week.
Limerick flags are flying at Thomond Bridge and Shannon Bridge but a major greening project is set to take place next week, with the council due to erect 100 large ‘good luck’ signs across the city and county, and bunting to be hung from civic offices.
