Extra cash for NI should be directed to the economy – Economy Minister

The Northern Ireland executive does not have the financial firepower to support locked down businesses to the level seen in the spring, Diane Dodds warned (David Young/PA)

An extra £200 million for Northern Ireland should be devoted to helping struggling businesses, Diane Dodds has told the First and Deputy First Ministers.

The money is a consequence of recent Treasury spending announcements.
