Covid-19 could be turning point in fight against homelessness, charity says

Covid-19 could be a turning point in the fight against homelessness if the Government learns from the effectiveness of the temporary ban on evictions, the founder of a homeless charity has said.

Focus Ireland president Sr Stanislaus Kennedy said it was important that homelessness was not allowed to become part of the “new normal” as the country tries to deal with the pandemic.
