People with no Covid-19 symptoms 'coming up positive' and can be 'infectious' - health expert
The National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) is reviewing the surge in cases in the Midlands and they have advised anyone living in the area to pay particular attention to new symptoms.
A disease expert has said that the recent outbreak of coronavirus has shown that people with no symptoms of the disease can still test positive.
It comes as public health officials prepare to issue further advice to prevent the spread of Covid-19 after they refused to rule out a regional lockdown in Kildare, Laois and Offaly.
