Man seriously injured after truck overturns killing several cattle in Wexford

Gardaí are investigating after a 34-year-old man was seriously injured in a crash in County Wexford.

He was driving a cattle truck which lost control and overturned onto an unoccupied parked car near the Ferrycarrig Bridge at around 12.50pm this afternoon.

He has been brought to Wexford General Hospital and remains in a serious condition.

A number of cattle were killed during the crash and the bridge remains closed with local diversions in place.

Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact Wexford Garda Station on 053 916 5200, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
