The Irish Association of Social Workers has said the number of mandated reports regarding children protection and welfare are likely to collapse due to the current Covid-19 crisis.

Under mandatory reporting regulations, anyone can report a concern about a child, including teachers, gardai and people involved in sports and youth clubs.
