Donegal man on board coronavirus-hit cruise ship awaiting permission to dock in US

An Irishman is second officer of the ill-fated Grand Princess cruise ship which has been struck with the coronavirus off the coast of America.

The Department of Foreign Affairs is checking reports that a number of Irish citizens are on board the cruise ship.
