Minister being briefed on coronavirus 'many times a day'; EU risk level up from moderate to high

The European Commission raised the coronavirus risk level from moderate to high for those in the European Union and the UK.

Health Minister Simon Harris has confirmed that there is still only one confirmed case of the coronavirus in Ireland.

Mr Harris described the spread of the virus as a "fast-evolving global situation" and denied that the government are not giving enough information to the public about the outbreak.
