Gardaí are investigating the illegal dumping of 22 bags of cannabis plants which were discovered by the side of the road in Meath by a litter warden last Tuesday.

The valuable haul was discovered by Meath County Council's Litter Warden Alan Nolan as he went to sift through the bags for evidence.
