Armed suspect on run after Dublin cash-in-transit robbery

A suspect is on the run after a cash-in-transit robbery in South Dublin.

A man armed with a gun has stolen an unknown amount of money from a cash-in-transit worker in Dublin.

The suspect held up the employee on Taney Road in Dundrum just after half ten this morning.

He's on the run, after fleeing in a white van that has since been found burnt out a short distance away.

Gardai are appealing for drivers with dash-cam footage of what happened to hand it in.
