More than 550 people waiting for hospital beds today

The worst-hit hospital today is University Hospital Limerick.

Today there are 569 patients waiting for beds in hospitals around the country.

According to this morning's INMO Trolley Watch, 366 are waiting in emergency departments while 203 are in wards elsewhere in the hospitals.

The worst-hit hospitals today are University Hospital Limerick with 73 awaiting to be admitted, while there are 51 people waiting for beds at Cork University Hospital.

Letterkenny University Hospital in Co. Donegal has 42 people waiting for beds.
