A civil engineering company claims in Commercial Court proceedings it is owed €3.6m for a 90-day delay caused by Irish Water during the construction of a major drainage improvement project.

Wills Bros, of Foxford, Co Mayo, is suing the water company over the delay to the Balbriggan-Skerries network improvement scheme in north county Dublin.
