A woman who falsely claimed €150,000 in social welfare payments has been jailed for 16 months.

Susan Foley (67) of St Ronan's Drive, Ronanstown, Clondalkin, Dublin pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to dishonestly by deception inducing the payment of €75,695.90 of carer's allowance at Permanent TSB, Ballyfermot, on dates between January 21, 2004 and September 15, 2010.
