Police in the North say a 46-year-old man who was arrested in Derry on Friday has been charged with six counts of attempted child abduction.

A man is to appear in court in Derry on Monday, charged in connection with six counts of attempted child abduction.

The 46-year-old man was arrested on Friday after police said they received a report of a man acting suspiciously towards children at The Old Fort in Strathfoyle at about 16.40pm.
