The public has been warned to prepare for Storm Lorenzo, which is expected to bring violent winds and disruptive weather conditions across the country from tomorrow.

Met Eireann has issued a Status Orange wind warning for Clare, Cork, Galway, Kerry, Limerick and Mayo from 6pm tomorrow night to 3am Friday morning, with a less severe Status Yellow warning in place for the rest of the country.
