A man in his 30s is in a critical condition after a serious workplace accident at Dublin Port.

Gardaí say the man was found stuck between two pieces of equipment at around 10am.

He has been brought to the Mater Hospital for treatment.

The Health and Safety Authority confirmed it has been notified of the workplace accident.

Inspectors attended the scene.
