Teenager dies in hospital after Cork road accident

A teenager who was involved in a road accident yesterday morning in Co. Cork has died in hospital.

The single-vehicle crash happened on the N25 at around 1.20am yesterday morning.

The man in his late teens was taken by ambulance to Cork University Hospital with serious head injuries where he passed away today.

The coroner will carry out a post-mortem examination on his body.
