Police officer knocked to ground at bonfire site; Two protesting on top pile of wooden pallets

Two young people are protesting on top of the pile of wooden pallets, which was due to be set alight on Thursday night.

Update 2pm: A police officer has been knocked to the ground during disturbances at the site of a proposed bonfire in Belfast.

Missiles and metal fencing were thrown at officers during sporadic violence in the New Lodge nationalist housing estate.
