A carer has pleaded guilty to stealing a total of €20,000 from an elderly woman whom she helped look after.

Marjorie Gallagher appeared at Letterkenny Circuit Court in Co Donegal charged with four thefts of €5,000 from 76-year-old Bridget McLaughlin.
