Two people hospitalised after road collision in Dublin

Two people have been taken to hospital after a serious crash in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.

The single-car collision occurred on the Strand Road in Portmarnock at around 5:15am today.

A 19-year-old man and woman whose age is unknown were taken to Beaumont Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Gardaí are still at the scene and the road remains closed.
