Man dies after accident at work in Carlow

A man has died following a workplace accident in Co. Carlow.

The man, who was in his 40s, was injured yesterday afternoon in an industrial accident Leighlinbridge.

He was taken to St Luke's Hospital in Kilkenny where he was later pronounced dead.

The Health and Safety Authority has launched an investigation into what happened.
