Initial police response to fatal Tyrone hotel disco crush to be investigated

Police officers who responded to a hotel disco crush that killed three teenagers are to face investigation after it emerged they initially withdrew from the scene.

Police Service of Northern Ireland Chief Constable George Hamilton has referred the actions of the officers to the region’s independent police watchdog, the Police Ombudsman.
