Court orders landlord must evacuate tenants from mobile homes and flat over fire safety concerns

A Co Carlow property owner has consented to an order requiring him to immediately evacuate, due to fire safety concerns, the occupants, including children, of an attic flat at the property and four mobile homes at the rear.

It is unclear exactly how many of the estimated 25 people living at the two storey house at Carrickduff, Bunclody, which has been converted into three self-contained flats, are affected.
