'Objective media essential to functioning democracy': SBP welcome victory in defamation case

Denis O’Brien has lost his High Court action alleging he was defamed in articles published in the Sunday Business Post.

The Sunday Business Post has welcomed a High Court decision to dismiss a defamation case taken against them saying that that the issues raised in the 2015 article were of critical importance to the media in Ireland.

The CEO of the Sunday Business Post (SBP) made the comment after Denis O’Brien lost his High Court action alleging he was defamed in articles published in the newspaper.
